The Wildlife Center of Virginia helps animals - animals who get their face caught on something, animals who imprint on humans and can't be released to the wild. If an animal can be released back into the wild, they're released, but if they can't, they become education ambassadors. 

Ozzy was the cutest little eastern screech owl I've ever seen...well, he was the only eastern screech owl I've ever seen. He is going to be greatly missed here at the Boring Scholars Collective. He lived 6 years after he was in the center and almost died at that time. At least he got to live another 6 years before those dark things. Forever in our hearts and minds: Ozzy,

The Boring Scholars Collective has decide to sponsor the American kestral Clover in memory of the previous sponsored creature, Ozzy the eastern screech owl. Clover hatched in 2021. She was trained as a falconing bird. She was released in fall 2021. She was found at a gas station following some humans. When she was brought to the Wildlife Center, she was deemed to have imprinted on humans.
